telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule tests university-related German language skills at a highly advanced level. The exam is aimed at adults who would like to study at a German university, who are already studying or working in an academic profession and who would like to prove their German language skills. At CASA we offer both the telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule exam and a preparation course. You can take the exam independently of the preparation course, but we recommend taking both together.

The preparation course

The participants deal with the formal requirements of the exam and learn about the type of tasks using original telc exam papers. Together they develop strategies to solve the tasks. All test-relevant skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking) are covered in the course. The focus is on the productive parts. 

Important: Vocabulary, idioms and grammar of C1 are required in the form of a successfully completed C1 course and are not part of this course. Alternatively, we will conduct a placement test here on site. This course does not guarantee that you will pass the exam.

The exam

The exam always takes place on Fridays from approx. 8:30 am - 5 pm.

 The result and the certificate will be available about 6 weeks after the exam. We will inform all participants as soon as they are received.
