Examination & Preparation course
telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule tests the German knowledge needed for success at an advanced academic level. The examination is suitable for adults who are interested in studying at German institutes of higher education, for adults who have already begun their studies at an institute of this kind or for adults who are working in an academic field and have the desire or necessity to demonstrate their German skills.

Time line
The examination takes place on two successive days:
Oral part: Friday 15:00 - 19:00
Written part: Saturday 9:00 - 12:00
> Currently it takes about 6 weeks until the results and certificates are available. All participants will be informed by us once they have arrived.
> A quicker evaluation is possible - if it is being ordered directly when registering for the exam AND at an extra cost of 50 €. The result is then available 2 weeks after the exam took place.
Costs
175,00 € examination fee
The registration for the exam must be done five weeks before the exam takes place (dates see on our overview site Tests & Examinations). It can only be done personally in our office, with immediate payment and by showing your passport.
A later enrollment is possible up to 1 week before the exam. This incurs an extra charge of 20 €.
Preparation course
If there is enough demand, we will offer a C1-preparation course for the exam.
It will take place as follows: Tuesday and Thursday evening, 18:30 - 20:00 (2 lessons) for a duration of five weeks. At least 5, max. 10 participants.
Costs: 180,00 €, plus the book "Prüfungstraining telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule" 17,50 €

Content: The participants will work through the tasks of the examination. By using exercises from original telc-examinations, you will learn the scope of tasks within the exam. Together, strategies will be developed to handle the exercises. All four skills (listening, reading, writing, speaking) will be covered. The course will focus on the practical skills.
Important: Vocabulary, useful phrases, and grammar at C1 level will not be included in this course and are a prerequisite for taking the exam. As an alternative, we can offer a personla level test in our school. The course offers no guarantee of success in the examination.
