Gateway to the world
This popular excursion takes you to Germany’s most famous trading town, where you’ll get the chance to see some of Hamburg’s countless interesting sights.
The guided tour starts deep down under the river Elbe. To cope with the masses of workers that had to commute between the city centre and the dockyards at the other side of the river, a technical masterpiece was constructed: the Elbtunnel, which dates back to the 19th century.
After a round trip through the famous harbour you’ll visit St. Michaelis church, Hamburg’s landmark, widely known under its affectionate nickname “Michel”.
The excursion is rounded off with a stroll through the city centre, and we’re back in Bremen around 6.30 pm.
